| HOW
MUCH DOES A WEBSITE COST?
Bottom line is, we don’t
know until we know what you want (or perhaps what you need).
A builder couldn’t give you a quote on
a new house until they had some plans to work from. In a similar way
we need to discuss your needs and find out exactly what you need and
what you expect.
We don’t charge for an initial consultation/briefing
meeting, so there’s nothing to lose by getting in touch.
WHAT ARE YOU PAYING FOR?
You are essentially paying for
our time. Before we start we’ll produce a full project report
with a breakdown of exactly where our time will be spent; as the project
continues we’ll provide you with ongoing progress reports showing
the hours that we’ve spent in each area. But, of course, no project
ever runs completely to plan so we can be as flexible as we need to
be to get the work done within your budget.
WHY SHOULD YOU INVEST IN A
WEBSITE?
Most organizations are used to
paying for printed things (a brochure, a pamphlet, press advertising);
printed things feel ‘real’ you can hold them in your hand,
you can have a cupboard stacked floor to ceiling with them. But a website
is a more difficult concept to grasp; you can’t hold it in your
hand, you can’t put it in an envelope.
Used effectively (especially as part of a package
of marketing materials) this investment can reap huge rewards. A website
is an ongoing resource; it's available to anyone (with computer access)
all day, every day; there’s no distribution costs and keeping
it up to date costs a fraction of the price of updating and printing
a brochure.
HOW CAN YOU STRETCH YOUR BUDGET?
Everyone wants value for money;
by working in partnership with us and planning as much as you can before
the design process begins you can save time and money.
