The Bigger Story

Not just a portfolio. A record of an industry changing.

Long-term client work has a value that a handful of “best-of” portfolio pieces can’t show. Seen together, the campaigns document changing animals, changing genetics, changing priorities and the visual evolution of the ranch itself.

This page is designed as a permanent Tajada library. Every major piece has a place here—stronger work, simpler work, older work and current work—because together they tell the real story of the relationship.

That same archive-first approach can grow into a broader record of the ranches and breeders Swihart Design & Marketing has worked with over decades, preserving part of the visual history of the whitetail industry.

The Flagship Buck

Gunslinger sits at the center of the Tajada story.

Gunslinger is George Tunal's pride-and-joy buck and a recurring genetic thread throughout later Tajada campaigns. That makes him the right anchor for the archive—not because one ad happens to be flashy, but because the animal matters to the ranch's history.

The archive follows the animals and bloodlines first. The design serves that story.

Trade Shows / Large Format / Environmental

The ranch leaves the magazine page.

Backdrops, pull-ups and coordinated show-floor graphics extend the same bloodline-driven storytelling into physical spaces.

Apparel & Merchandise

Animals become merchandise lines.

The apparel work ranges from direct ranch identity to buck-specific and doe-specific graphics, showing how Tajada's visual language translates into simpler, production-friendly artwork.

Web & Digital

The archive continues online.

Tajada's current website carries the ranch into the digital side of the relationship, presenting its Texas whitetail breeding program, trophy bucks and genetics to breeders and ranches beyond the trade-show floor.

The live site is linked here so the client archive can connect historical creative work to the ranch's current public presence.

Why Keep It All?

A body of work becomes more valuable when you can see the whole body.

This approach turns individual client pages into long-form archives: useful to the ranch, useful to prospective clients and, over time, a visual library of the whitetail breeding industry itself.
